It is our mission at Wonderpups to help you to develop a beautifully behaved puppy. We will make sure you receive plenty of practical guidance and ongoing support to help you and your puppy achieve your goals. We aim to make sure all training and consults are fun and effective. This next bit does however, needs to be a bit formal - we hope you understand the need for some written policies in the interest of your safety and to lay out everyone's responsibilities:

We use only kind and positive methods which are extremely modern and science-based. Harsh handling is absolutely not permitted. We have a complete ban on choke chains and other coercive or punitive techniques.

When appropriate, we will often take training sessions outdoors into local parks. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs when out and about. All dogs must be kept under control and on a lead in public areas, (off lead only where specifically requested by your trainer.) We are here to help but it is important to note that you are liable for the conduct of your dog at all times. Unfortunately refunds cannot be given after your training programme has started, except in exceptional circumstances - as decided by Wonderpups.

Wonderpups will make every effort to ensure that you and your dog are kept safe whilst training with us. Nevertheless Wonderpups cannot be held liable for any loss or damage of your property; or indeed the loss, injury or death of your dog whilst training. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend the training sessions - indeed they are often the best handlers! However, for the sake of safety and consistency in training, young people under the age of 16 must be with an adult at all times. Parents might wish to sit down with their children before their training session to explain how important it is for them to listen and be involved.

Please let us know if your dog is not in a fit state to train due to illness, injury or any other reason. All dogs should be wormed and fully protected by vaccination as advised by their vet. If you dog has kennel cough or has been in contact with dogs who do you must notify us immediately - the same applies for any other illness.

Cancellation Policy: Wonderpups understands that sometimes life gets in the way and your plans can change at short notice, as such we will try to be as flexible and understanding of cancellations as possible. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge, cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at the full rate.
